Deputy Minister Marta Dassù is in Poland today for bilateral meetings with Minister Sikorski and Under-Secretary Mościcka-Dendys.
The visit to Warsaw will offer an opportunity to illustrate the priorities Italy intends to pursue during its duty presidency of the European Union (as of July 2014), as well as to outline actions and synergies on EU themes of common interest. Discussions will also centre on preparations for the December European Council on European defence and recent developments in the Middle East. It will also be an occasion on which to raise Polish awareness regarding participation in the 2015 Milan EXPO and to contribute to preparations for the bilateral summit of 5 December in Warsaw.
