To mark Italian Design Day 2022, the Italian Embassy in Canada, in partnership with Progetto CMR of Milan and Diamond Schmitt Architects of Toronto, will host a webinar titled “Living, Working, Breathing-Design Tomorrow’s Workplace” next 24 March.
The speakers will explore the changes that the pandemic caused on daily habits and activities, imposing on everybody to reconsider their lifestyles; among these, work has been significantly affected. The webinar, which will be conducted in English, will address the concept of workplace in the post-pandemic period, with a focus on how architecture, design and town planning can contribute to improve life, health, and wellbeing and consequently also productivity. It will be an opportunity to discuss how Italy and Canada are tackling these challenges in line with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for sustainable development.
