On the occasion of his mission to Lebanon, Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio met with UNIFIL Commander Gen. Stefano Del Col today. During their talks, the Minister expressed great appreciation for mission achievements under the command of Gen. Del Col, stressing that UNIFIL plays a fundamental role in maintaining peace and stability in a region characterized by growing tensions.
