During his visit to Lebanon, Foreign Minister Di Maio meets with the Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gebran Bassil.​

The talks focused on the traditional long-standing friendship and deep ties between Italy and Lebanon.
 
The Minister reaffirmed Italy’s support to Lebanon through its contribution to UNIFIL, the support to the Lebanese Armed Forces, cooperation programmes and many more business and cultural initiatives.
