Ambassador Andrea Tiriticco
Born in Rome (RM) on 26 July 1964.
Graduated in Law at Rome University in 1989.
He entered the diplomatic service in 1990 and was assigned to the Directorate General for Development Cooperation and appointed Commercial Secretary in Bucharest in 1993.
He was appointed to the Consulate General in New York in 1997.
He returned to Rome to rejoin the Secretariat General in 2001.
He was appointed Head of the Secretariat of the Directorate General for Multilateral Political Affairs and Human Rights in 2004. He joined the Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the same year.
He was appointed Deputy Head of Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in 2007.
He was appointed Head of the Service for Legal Affairs, Diplomatic Disputes and International Agreements in 2013.
He was appointed Diplomatic Advisor to the Minister of the Interior in 2019.
He was appointed Inspector General of the Ministry and Posts Abroad in December 2022.
Official Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
He is fluent in English and French. His interests include photography and hiking.
