    Minister Alfano on the outcome of the Referendum in Turkey

    Angelino Alfano, minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on the outcome of the Referendum in Turkey: “We acknowledge – says Minister Alfano – the results of the referendum and await completion of the verifications and final assessment of the OSCE- ODIHR observation mission. In the meantime we hope that – consistently with Turkey’s membership in the Council of Europe – the tensions within the Country will cool down and that the oppositions may take part in the implementation of reforms”.
