Exploring investment opportunities in Southeast Asia. That is the goal of the ASEAN Awareness Forum taking place at the Foreign Ministry on 22 and 23 March 2012 and scheduled to be opened by Minister Giulio Terzi.
The initiative is being organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with Confindustria, the employers’ federation. It will provide Italian enterprises, associations and internationalisation bodies with a full and comprehensive picture of business conditions and investment and cooperation opportunities in the countries of the ASEAN region. A region that represents a potential market of 600 million people.
The Forum envisages thematic tables on infrastructure, consumer goods and distribution, industrial cooperation and science and technology. The event, which will be attended by representatives of 10 countries in the region, follows on from Minister Terzi’s recent visit to Asia.
