Reconciling the need for mobility and transport in major metropolises with the duty to preserve and enhance the city’s historic and archaeological memory is the theme of an educational seminar entitled “Archeologia e Reti metropolitane” scheduled for Friday 9 November at the Auditorium of the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens (Patission 47), which is promoting the event in collaboration with the Greek Institute of Architecture of Athens, the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Rome-Roma Tre and the International Center for Architectural Design and Archeology (Icada) of Athens.
