Taipei – “The divine michelangelo” exhibition opens

In the presence of Vice-President of the Republic Wu Dunyi and of the Academy Sinica Wang Fansen, the Taipei History Museum opened the exhibition “The Divine Michelangelo” on 25 January. Its intention is to offer the Taiwanese public a chance to view the highly skilled reproductions of Michelangelo’s masterpieces executed by the Niccolai-Teknoart studio in Florence, along with a small (14 pieces) but precious collection of original sketches and documents loaned by the Casa Buonarotti Foundation. The exhibition travels in May to Kaohsiung, and has the direct financial support of the museums and Taiwanese sponsors.
