ITALY-ALBANIA – BOOK ON THE HADRIANOPOLIS EXCAVATIONS

A summary of the five-year archaeological excavation at the ancient Roman city of Hadrianopolis in Albania will be presented on 16 March next during the launch of the book ““Hadrianopolis II” at the library of the Italian Cultural Institute of Tirana. The book was edited by Roberto Perna and Dhimiter Condi who directed the field works, and is the fruit of a scientific collaboration launched in 2005 by the University of Macerata and the Tirana Archaeological Institute, with subsequent additional support provided by protocols of collaboration signed in 2006 and 2009.
