WASHINGTON honours Renato Dulbecco

On the first anniversary of the death of Renato Dulbecco, distinguished Italian biologist and physician and winner of the 1975 Nobel Prize in Medicine for his work on oncoviruses, the Italian Embassy in Washington has organized a conference in his honour. “The Dulbecco Legacy from cancer biology, molecular genetics and novel therapeutic applications, to science advocacy” is part of the calendar of events planned for the Year of Italian Culture in the United States.
