The Directorate General for Country Promotion has developed an innovative project, in collaboration with Unioncamere (the Chambers of Commerce organisation) in Emilia Romagna, to foster awareness of business opportunities abroad. The project is called “One-Click Internationalisation”.
The innovative element lies in implementing these initiatives on the Web, through webinars, in what is now a well-established, widespread and popular practice in many countries throughout the world. Webinars also offer clear advantages in cost-benefit terms. For example, they keep organisational and participation costs down both for businesses and for foreign presenters and experts. And they require a minimum time-commitment for all concerned, while making it possible for a large number of participants to “attend” (definitely much higher than “traditional” workshops).
First webinar will be dedicated to Indonesia
The first webinar in the new project will take place on Tuesday 26 March 2013 and will be dedicated to Indonesia.
Businesses in Emilia Romagna and other regions will be able to join a live web-link from Jakarta, the Indonesian capital, and speak to buyers, trade association representatives, local importers and others interested in doing business with Italy. They will be online to provide information on the potential of the Indonesian market, distribution channels, local and international competition, prices and customs.
How to take part
All those wishing to take part in these free events should register in the Webinar section, which can be found through the infoMercatiEsteri link (http://www.infomercatiesteri.it/webinar.php). Users will be able to:

· view a recording of the event at a later date
· have access to contacts and background material provided for each country/sector.
