LIMA – Slow Food founder Petrini and cartoonist Staino visit Peru

The Italian Cultural Institute in Lima has hosted a debate between the founder and president of the Slow Food association, Carlo Petrini, and the cartoonist Sergio Staino, who is very popular in Peru. Topics discussed included food traditions, sustainable agriculture and biodiversity.

After the debate a exhibition of Staino’s cartoons and illustrations featuring universal subjects such as the family and defending the environment, and using humour to provide a snapshot of Italian society in recent decades, was opened. Read more, in Italian.
