A book on Italian architecture in the People’s Republic of China is our embassy in Beijing’s latest project. Its aim is to better inform local authorities and sector actors on the contribution of Italian architectural firms to the urban development of that Asian nation. The embassy has asked Italian professionals who have worked in China to submit their projects by 15 September for inclusion in the book. Eligible are Italian firms registered in Italy or in China as of 30 July 2013 that have completed architectural projects in China (including Hong Kong from 1997 on and Macao from 1999), begun work on a project, even if it is incomplete, or placed among the top ranked projects in official competitions for the design of an architectural project or master plan in China. The book is to be published by the Rizzoli publishing house. Read more, in Italian
