The Australian Minister for Infrastructure and Deputy Prime Minister, Warren Truss, has announced a call for expressions of interest for works to up-grade the Princes Highway in the State of Victoria. Work is expected to begin in 2014 and end in 2015, and will includes a new bridge over the Barwon River and the installation of traffic signalling and management systems. The project will receive funding from the 171 AUD provided by the Federal Government and the government of Victoria for the duplication of the Highway between Waurn Ponds and Winchelsea.
