Turkey: Ankara government presents 2014-2016 Mid-Term Agenda

The Turkish government presented its new Mid-Term agenda (prepared by the Ministry of Development), which provides some forecasts on main economic indicator trends for the 2014-2016 three-year period, with a slight reduction of estimates as compared with the previous version. GDP growth for 2013 should level off at 3.6%, increases registered, respectively, at 3% in the first quarter and 4.4% in the second. A 4% rate of growth is expected for 2014, with around 5% for 2015 and 2016 being the rate established by the ministry as the minimum for ensuring the country’s objectives. Read more, in Italian.
