Turkey: Astaldi launches construction of Etlik hospital complex
A healthcare facility where up to 50,000 patients can be examined daily, that employs 20,000 professionals and has 3,566 beds available: Ankara’s new Etlik Hospital, which is going to be built by a consortium of firms led by Astaldi and the local Turklerler group — a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) investment of slightly under one billion euro. Construction was launched with the customary laying of the first stone in the presence of Prime Minister Erdogan, Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu and many other members of the government.
