Establishing a global network of “agritourism” districts. That is thegoal of the first World Agritourism Development Forum which took place recently in Changsha, in China. Italy, considered to be the world’s leading country for agricultural tourism, was represented by the Under-Secretary for Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policy, Maurizio Martina,the mayors of 5 Italian towns and the President of the Italian Association for Agriturism, the Environment and the Land.
