World Economic Forum – Seeking young candidates for new ideas on the future of the planet

The deadline for applications to take part in the Rome Hub of “Global Shapers” is 31 August. The independent, non-partisan volunteer association was born in 2012 of a World Economic Forum initiative to put young people across the world in touch and involve them in the processes that are changing society.

Contributing to bettering society

The WEF has selected young people between the ages of 20 and 30 in major cities, who have achieved excellent results in their areas of interest, and who have strong leadership skills and the desire to contribute to bettering the societies in which they live.

Global Shapers: over 3,500 members around the world

By now there are Global Shapers in 337 cities and its membership counts more than 3,780 on all the world’s continents. The Rome Hub is seeking new recruits to work on projects already under way, as well as to develop new ideas, initiatives and projects together.
