Culture as a channel for dialogue amongst peoples. That was the message sent out by the Italian Cultural Institute in Edinburgh with its project “Journeys: viaggio nell’arte e nello spirito di culture e tradizioni diverse” (Journeys: travels in the art and spirit of different cultures and traditions), which commemorates the outbreak of the First World War.
The initiative was staged with the cooperation of the Scottish-Polish Cultural Association and the Scotland-Russia Forum. A series of dance, music, visual arts and literature events explored the spirit and art of traditions and religions which, although different, are joined by similar ideals. Read more, in Italian.
