“World, European Union, and Czechia: 1989 – 2014 – 2039”. That was the title of a conference in Prague organised by the city’s Charles University under the aegis of the Italian Presidency of the EU Council, with the collaboration of the Italian Embassy to the Czech Republic.
In his presentation, the Italian Ambassador to Prague, Aldo Amati, discussed the international challenges facing the European Union, especially on its southern and eastern borders. Challenges such as immigration, enlargement and transatlantic relations, which must be addressed with solidarity and with policies agreed at the European level. Read more, in Italian.
