The Alstom “Pendolino”, Poland’s first high-speed train, has begun commercial operations. The Pendolino trains will operate along the existing PKP Intercity lines connecting the key cities of Warsaw, Danzig, Gdynia, Krakow, Katowice and Wroclaw, and were built in the Italian city of Savigliano (CN) with the collaboration on traction systems of Sesto San Giovanni (MI).
