The Italian Cultural Institute of Budapest inaugurated a calendar of events planned for the early months of 2015 with a concert on Sunday by Tito Ceccherini and the Mav Symphony Orchestra, with Pasquale Iannone on piano. Two events will follow, both to be held in the Institute’s Sala Giuseppe Verdi, in which the Mav Symphony Orchestra will perform selections from Vivaldi, Puccini and Albironi. The focus will switch to Dante Alighieri on 26 January, for the 750th anniversary of his birth, with a performance by Paolo Antonio Simioni. Other events will celebrate Italian literature, theatre, cinema, cuisine and language.
