UAE: opportunities for Italian firms with Abu Dhabi Vision 2030

Some major opportunities for Italian firms exist with the creation and maintenance of the public works projects included in Abu Dhabi Vision 2030, a city plan for overall sustainable development. This was the news that emerged from a meeting between a representative of the Embassy of Italy in Abu Dhabi and the CEO of Musanada, Awaidha Al Marar. Musanada is the general services company created in late 2007 by the Abu Dhabi government for the management of Abu Dhabi Vision 2030. Foreign firms are required to have a valid license to operate in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Firms can then register free of charge on the company’s portal in order to be included on the vendor list and thus to be able to bid on periodically announced projects (http://www.musanada.co.ae/English/OurServices/Procurement/Pages/default.aspx).
