DEI – Turkey: Minimum price in 4G auction set at 2.3 billion euros

The minimum price for the allocation of frequencies (from 800 to 2600 MHz) for the new 4G network in Turkey has been set at 2.3 billion euros. The price was set by the Turkish telecommunications regulator, which specified that the network will be launched in late 2015. According to information provided by the regulator, in the third quarter of 2014 3G subscriptions increased by 41.4% to 31.1 million, while mobile internet traffic rose grew by 123% over the year.

Malaysia: KSH buys Piaggio Aero Industries aircraft for 7.4 million USD

Piaggio Aero Industries has completed the sale of a Piaggio Avanti EVO 7-passenger aircraft to Malaysia’s Kris Sakti Holdings (KSH) for a price of 7.4 million dollars. The aircraft, at present the world’s fastest turboprop, will be delivered by the end of July 2016.
