Business – Catania hosts internationalisation road show

Catania will host the next stage in the road show for the Internationalisation of “System Italy”. The event, which takes place on 2 July 2015, will see a plenary session with guests from the institutional and financial communities. Participants include Linda Vancheri, economic Councillor from Sicily Region; the Deputy Minister for Economic Development, Carlo Calenda; the Secretary General of the Farnesina, Ambassador Michele Valensise; and Roberto Rizzo, from Catania Chamber of Commerce. The event also includes a technical session introduced and moderated by  Vincenzo De Luca, Principal Director for the Internationalisation of the Country System at the Farnesina. Other speakers include Riccardo Monti, President of ICE-Italian Trade Agency; Fabrizio Ferrari, from SACE; and Massimo D’Aiuto of SIMEST.

Success stories and advice from internationalisation experts

The event will close with a selection of business success stories and with  B2B meetings with ICE experts to identify individual internationalisation strategies, and with experts from the organisations taking part in the road show. The initiative sees all of the actors of System Italy – from both the public and the private sector – engaged in a joint medium-term effort throughout Italy.

During the programme, public institutions, business organisations and key players from the world of finance will be meeting companies in a programme of events promoting internationalisation.  Throughout 2015 and 2016 events will be taking place in Genoa, Cagliari, Monza, Catania, L’Aquila, Cosenza, Bergamo, Potenza, Vicenza, Pisa, Reggio Calabria, Novara, Forli’, Cremona, Como and Campobasso. Each meeting will open with a plenary session with internationalisation experts who will illustrate the opportunities and instruments available to help companies enter foreign markets. During the events businesses who have signed up for one-to-one sessions will be able to meet specialists who will help them draw up tailor-made internationalisation plans.
