DEI– China: Cogne Acciai factory opens in Dongguan

The new Cogne Acciai Speciali production facility has opened in Dongguan, in Guangdong Province in China. Cogne Acciai Speciali is an Italian multinational specialising in the production of stainless steel components for the oil and gas, aerospace and, especially, automotive sectors. The new factory, which has 130 employees, was set up to increase the production capacity of the previous facility, in the same region, to bring it into line with the growing needs of the Chinese market. Once fully up and running, in three years time, the Dongguan factory will produce up to 10,000 tons of steel, a 40% increase on current production levels.
