“Better data, better lives”. This is the theme of the 2nd World Statistics Day (20 October 2015) called by the UN General Assembly, in which the MFAIC will be a participant, convinced of the strategic role in official statistical data in sustainable development policies.
“Better Data, Better Lives” is the title of the 5th Italian Day, which will develop into an ISTAT national event , followed by additional initiatives organised by local offices in collaboration with the academic world and the national statistics system.
Within this context, the digital English-language version of the“Statistical Yearbook 2015 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in numbers” goes on-line today. An English language compendium of data regarding the activities of the Farnesina’s central headquarters and the entire diplomatic network abroad, bearing witness to the ministry’s commitment to the production of quality statistical data in the service of transparency.
