The Directorate General for Country Promotion, in collaboration with Italian Trade Agency ICE, Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Uni-Italia, has relaunched the “Invest Your Talent in Italy” programme, an instrument aimed at supporting internationalisation strategies by utilising foreign talents trained in Italy in skills in business operational sectors.
Promotion
A promotional campaign has been launched abroad to publicise the opportunities on offer. Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan were the first to host presentations at the A2 International Education Fairs that recently took place in Almaty and Baku. Both occasions registered great enthusiasm and interest in Italy’s proposal.
The operational model
This proposal is for a training course at one of the participating Italian universities, to be followed by a 3-month practical internship at a company. All this thanks to bursaries made available by public and private partners as an incentive to the most deserving students, and in addition, in some cases, to exemption from University fees.
A total of 130 specialised courses (3-year and Masters courses) given entirely in English and made available by 22 Italian universities in the following sectors: Engineering/High Technology, Design/Architecture and Economics/Management. The students will come from ten priority countries: Azerbaijan, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Turkey and Vietnam.
