The centennial of the Great War will be celebrated with music on 11 October in a concert arranged by our embassy and cultural institute in Jakarta at the institute’s auditorium. “A’ la vie!”, composed by Roccardo Piacentini (composer-pianist) and Tiziana Scandaletti (soprano) and staged by Duo Alterno, is an homage to two pivotal artists of the early 20th century: Kazimir Malevic and Umberto Boccioni, both of whom were producing some of the period’s most iconic works in 1914.
