The 48th instalment of “Diplomazia e dintorni” is entitled “Ambassador in Latin America” and will be aired on Tuesday 17 November at 20:00 on Radio LUISS. This week’s guest is Silvio Mignano, Ambassador of Italy to Venezuela, as well as writer, translator and poet. The occasion will offer a glimpse into the daily life of an Ambassador working in South America, the challenges and opportunities that arise for those who represent and promote our country overseas and what instruments are at their disposal.Silvio Mignano’s recently published novels –“La favola del mercante Docibile e della principessa siriana” and “Pilar degli invisibili” – are the latest in a vast literary and poetic repertoire, and together we will discuss those stories and the characters that animate them.
