The “Italy for business, with SMEs towards foreign markets” roadshow, set up as part of the Internationalisation Situation Room with the aim of presenting all the tools made available by institutions to support Italian companies in foreign markets, has re-opened its doors.
The city of Sondrio’s Teatro Sociale in Piazza Garibaldi will be the first stop for 2016 (the 28th since the initiative was launched in 2014). The day will begin with introductions by Benedetto Della Vedova, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mauro Parolini, Economic Development Director for the Lombardy Region and Emanuele Bertolini, Chairman of the Sondrio Chamber of Commerce.
“Sondrio is an important stop for the roadshow because of the area’s particularly dynamic business fabric and its as yet untapped export potential – stated Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Benedetto Della Vedova. Lombard companies have again demonstrated their dynamism in foreign markets in 2015, confirming the innovative strength and high degree of competitiveness of this area’s business fabric. The Government is strongly committed to supporting and increasing the level of internationalisation of the Lombard economic system through the network of Embassies and Consulates across the world and in association with the network of the ICE abroad.”A technical session will follow with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the ICE Trade Agency, SACE and Simest, which will illustrate their respective tools to support internationalisation and answer questions from the public. Business people will be able to meet the representatives of all the organisations attending the event, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development, SACE, Simest, ICE, Confartigianato, Chamber of Commerce, Region, Confindustria, Rete Imprese Italia and Alleanza delle Cooperative.
