“Origini Italia” is a training course advertised on the website of the Italian Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa, although there are many embassies around the world offering the same course, from Washington to Santiago passing through Ottowa. It is open to enrolments until March 31. It is a path along which to grow, acquire training and enrich one’s pool of knowledge: a voyage in which to discover the country of origin of one’s ancestors, explore new realities and acquire business and managerial expertise. The MIB School of Management of Trieste, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Agency for the Internationalisation and Promotion of Italian Companies Abroad (ITA/ICE), promoted the “Origini Italia” project for the young descendants of Italian emigrants residing abroad. The enrolment is free of charge and organisers will cover travel expenses as well as food and lodging costs throughout the four-month duration of the course, from August to December 2016.
