Tokyo – Agribusiness, the Cibus road show in Dubai and Japan

The Cibus (International Food Exhibition) road show aimed at promoting Italian food, continues. An event was held at the GulFood trade show in Dubai and another is scheduled for March 9 at the Foodex Japan 2016 trade in Tokyo from March 8 to 11. Cibus, Fiere di Parma, ICE, the agency for the promotion abroad and internationalisation of Italian firms and Federalimentare have organized a dinner at the Italian Embassy in Japan on March 9. About 100 guests are expected, including buyers, local businesses and Italian food companies. Foodex Japan, with 3,000 exhibitors, is the most important food fair in Japan and a commercial point of reference throughout the Asia Pacific area. For GulFood a dinner was held recently at the Armani Hotel of Burj Khalifa, organised by Cibus, Fiere di Parma, ICE and Federalimentare.

GulFood, with 5,000 exhibitors from the food and hospitality industry from 120 countries, is among the most important food fairs in the Middle East. The dinner was attended by 200 people, including buyers, Dubai and Middle Eastern businesses and representatives of food companies. Elda Ghiretti, Cibus Brand Manager, and Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma, took to the floor. The18th Cibus to be held in Parma on May 9 to 12 was also presented. The event allowed Italy to consolidate relations  started during the six months of Expo with partners from the Middle East, and to help make the most of the 2020 Expo Dubai with business opportunities for Italian agri-food businesses.
