Buenos Aires – Paolo Giordano guest star in the Year of Italy in Latin America

Italian writer Paolo Giordano will be the guest star of the event hosted by the Italian Institute of Culture (IIC) in Buenos Aires at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 28. The event is part of the Year of Italy in Latin America initiative. Mr Giordano will have a chat with Luciana Zollo, an expert in the bilingual and intercultural teaching of Italian literature to adults, who will present her own literary production. Mr Giordano has a degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of Turin and has become one of Italy’s most outstanding recent editorial phenomena. His novel “La solitudine dei numeri primi” (“Solitude of Prime Numbers”) has sold over seven million copies and has received numerous awards, including the Campiello Opera Prima and the Premio Strega. In his novels, which focus on the character’s deepest-set human feelings like solitude and emotional ties during war and disease, the author attempts to study the “physics of feelings”.
