The 61th episode “Diplomazia e dintorni” (“Diplomacy and the Like”) is entitled “Jazz to Export” and will feature an extraordinary guest star: Pino Saulo, music critic of Radio3 and long-time curator and presenter of numerous RAI radio broadcasts. The programme will be aired at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, 17 May, 2016, on Radio LUISS.
Italian Jazz has, in its own right, become a characteristic feature of our music culture. Having now achieved international standing, Italian jazz artists are increasingly called and acclaimed outside our national borders.
In this week’s episode, Pino Saulo will help us illustrate how Italian Jazz has come to be considered of the highest international standing in terms of quality and originality.
It will offer the opportunity of hearing established artists as well as young talents. It will provide the way to better understand why Italian Jazz can be extraordinarily instrumental to promoting Italian culture abroad.
