Astana – Luca Seta on tour in Kazakhstan for the Year of Italian Culture

Luca Seta is getting ready for his tour in Kazakhstan: Astana, Uralsk and Aktobe. After performing on the prestigious stage of Rome’s Auditorium Parco della Musica (last 20 May), the young songwriter and singer will now fly abroad to present the release of his record “In Viaggio con Kerouac” (“Travelling with Kerouac”). He has set three dates for his stops between 1 and 5 June: on 1 June in Astana (concert hall of Univ Arti, Tauelsyzdyk 50, 7:30 p.m.), on 3 June in Uralsk (Kurmangaliyeva Philharmonic, 7:00 p.m.) and on 5 June at Aktobe (Zhubanova Philharmonic, 7:00 p.m.). All the concerts are promoted by the Italian Embassy as one of the musical events of the Year of Italian Culture in Kazakhstan. Pop, jazz, folk and reggae are all part of the crossover music project drawing inspiration from the Beat Generation’s “In Viaggio con Kerouac”, in which the cross-fertilisation between sounds and art forms come to life in a contemporary sound capable of merging the rhythms written by songwriters with improvisations. On the stage with the songwriter and singer will be a jazz quintet with an extraordinary power of communication: Gabriele Buonasorte, sax player and the arranger of the record, Simone Maggio, piano, Mauro Gavini, bass, David Giacomini, guitar, and Saverio Federici at the drums.
