Limassol – “Fuocammare” by Gianfranco Rosi at the Festival of Documentaries in Cyprus

Italy is represented at the International Festival of Documentaries in Limassol in Cyprus, the festival that every year offers professional directors and local producers the chance to learn about new developments in documentaries. The festival, the 11th, includes a screening of the documentary “Fuocammare” by Gianfranco Rosi, with the support of the Italian Embassy to Cyprus, UNHCR Cyprus and Future Worlds Centre. 
The film, which won the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival, will be shown on 7 August at 20.30 at the Evagtoras Lanitis Centre (Limassol Castle). The main sponsor of the festival is the Ministry for Education and Culture of Cyprus and it is organised by the NGO “Brave New Culture” in cooperation with CyBC (Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation).
