Germany – A new form of Italian migration to be discussed in Berlin

The Italian Embassy to Germany has organized a new series of events in Berlin to talk about the new Italian migration to Germany: after a meeting with a musical ensemble held on 14 December of last year, the Embassy will host an evening dedicated to Italian researchers on 24 January. The splendid palace overlooking the Tiergartgen will be the backdrop for an evening during which four Italian researchers, at different stages in their professional careers, will talk about their personal and professional experiences. Guests will include: Alessandra Buonanno, Director at Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics Potsdam-Golm and head of the Astrophysical and Cosmological Relativity Division; Massimo Moraglio, Senior Researcher at the Institute of vocational education and work studies, Technische Universitaet Berlin; Eleonora Rivalta, ERC Principal Investigator of Physics of Earthquakes and Volcanoes, Helmholtz Centre Potsdam – GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences and Elena Torlai Triglia, PhD candidate, Epigenetic Regulation and Genome Architecture, Berlin Institute for Medical Systems Biology at the Max-Delbrück-Center for Molecular Medicine.

The event, which will open with an interview in Italian followed by questions from the audience, will be moderated by Matteo Pardo, the Italian science attaché.
