Five talented young musicians in a concert of great music is on schedule from 7 to 8 p.m. on 16 January at the Concert Hall of the Central Military Club of Sofia. The concert, organised by the Italian Cultural Institute (IIC) in association with CIDIM (Italian Music Committee) of Friuli, will feature the Anemos quintet. “The Italian Cultural Institute in Sofia invites you to an exceptional concert of European music, performed by 5 talented young musicians,” reads the invitation circulated by the IIC. The quintet was established in Provence in the summer of 2010 from the encounter of five musicians from different European countries: Austria, France, Italy and Spain. From the very start the quintet especially distinguished itself for its attention and research on acoustics. By exploiting to the utmost the pitch range of the five wind instruments and the different schools of thought on acoustics, Anemos created for itself a unique and fascinating acoustic identity. It is not the artists’ first performance abroad: the quintet has already performed in important international festivals in all of Europe, spanning from Rome to Paris, Geneva and Gozo,
