Peru – Alaska2Patagonia project presented on Wednesday

‎Italian cyclist Davide Travelli presented his “Alaska2Patagonia” project in an exclusive event held at the Italian Cultural Institute in Lima on Wednesday Feb 1. The athlete, who was born in Bergamo and grew up in Dublin, has practised cycling competitively and passionately for 13 years. After a long break, he decided to undertake a journey across the Americas by traveling on his bike along the Panamericana, the longest road in the world. Mr Travelli started his journey at Prudhoe Bay (Alaska) on 13 Aug 2015 and is continuing this gargantuan challenge of cycling across the entire length of the American continent, which will finish up at Ushuaia, Patagonia (Argentina). Mr Travelli is traveling alone, with no support, across 16 countries and is due to make a stopover in Lima after riding almost 25,000 kilometres. After reaching the capital of Peru, Mr Travelli told the story of his adventure exclusively for the Italian Cultural Institute in Lima.
