The “Ever Closer Union” exhibition and the Conference “CETA: A New Framework for International Relations or the Last of Its Kind?” held in Toronto

Toronto has hosting the exhibition “Ever Closer Union” and the “CETA: A New Framework for International Relations or the Last of Its Kind?” that provided the setting for the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Rome Treaties. Both events were held at the Glendon College of York University and were organized by the Consulate General and by the Italian Cultural Institute together with the Consulates of the Member Countries of the European Union and the School of Public and International Affairs.

The exhibition and the conference was an opportunity for the students of the University and for the people who came in large numbers to discuss the key moments in the sixty years of European integration while reflecting, at the same time,  on the future of the relationships between the EU and Canada and on the additional benefits  for companies and people alike that will come from  the implementation of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, CETA).
