Spain: Fab Linkage kicks off exchange project between Italian and Spanish makers
Madrid hosted the first “The Fab Linkage” business and exchange forum, a project falling under the “ITmakES 2017” initiative. The participants were selected from 9 Italian and Spanish cities (Alicante, Barcelona, Cagliari, Lecce, Madrid, Malaga, Milan, Rome and Valencia) by a Scientific Committee formed by representatives of major digital product makers and research agencies from the two Countries. The projects were selected with the aim of reinforcing ties between Italian and Spanish makers. During the three-day event, the representatives of the Fab Lab promotors of the 13 projects selected worked on outlining a common development approach hinging on the single projects presented. The working groups will continue their activities over the next few months with the aim of presenting co-developed prototypes at Rome’s Maker Faire next October.
