The Farnesina hosts an important workshop on innovation in the entrance visa service which will be attended by representatives of the main Schengen Countries. The workshop will also be attended by representatives of the Estonian Presidency, which has identified e-governance as a priority of the semester that has just begun, and of the European Commission.
The Italian Foreign Ministry looks on technological innovation as a key instrument in streamlining regular entries by providing an ever-more transparent and efficient service.
On the agenda of the workshop is the presentation of the Farnesina’s “e-@pplication” project which will enable users to fill their visa application forms online, thus facilitating user access to the service throughout Italy’s entire diplomatic and consular network.
