The Walter Tosto company signed a major mutual cooperation agreement with Petrojet, a leading EPC contractor in Egypt, North Africa and the Middle East. The purpose of the agreement is to assist Petrojet in a technological upgrading process to enable it to manufacture pressure equipment and heat exchangers in its laboratories. The process involves an initial training stage at the Walter Tosto workshops to teach qualified Egyptian staff corporate skills and know-how in various areas of expertise such as engineering, production, quality, project management and, subsequently, have specialised technicians provide assistance at the Petrojet workshops in Egypt. The aim is to permit Petrojet and Walter Tosto to manufacture critical components for the oil & gas industry in Egypt, in compliance with local requirements that are becoming increasingly important for end customers. The contract was signed at the Egypt Petroleum Show 2019 (EGYPS), the biggest international fair in North Africa and the Middle East for the oil & gas and petrochemical industries.
