Italian Economic Diplomacy, 11 April: latest news from the world

An International Procurement Seminar will be held at EXCO 2019, the first International Cooperation Expo, scheduled to take place at the Rome Fair next 16 and 17 April. The event, which is organized by the Italian Trade Agency, ICE, is designed to promote the participation of Italian businesses in tenders launched by UN agencies. The Seminar will be open to all companies that registered as vendors with the UNGM portal by 12 April.
 
The event’s agenda features speakers from 12 UN Agencies who will be presenting action programme strategies based on sustainable development goals.
 
Information will be provided on UN procurement requirements in several sectors and namely: emergency management, logistics, innovation, aerospace ICT, engineering, agri-food, medical and pharmaceutical products. The Italian companies concerned can ask to meet with UN Agency procurement officials in dedicated meetings.
