PARAGUAY – Business Forum to be held from 21 to 22 May

The Italian Embassy in Asuncion and the Italian Trade Agency – ICE in conjunction with the Italy-Paraguay Chamber of Commerce and the Italo-Latin American Institute will organise a business forum for Italian businesses that are interested in understanding what business and investment opportunities exist in the country. The event will take place from 21 to 22 May in the cities of Asunción and Ciudad del Este.

During the Forum, the highest authorities in the country and heads of local trade associations will illustrate the unique features of the Paraguayan economy to the Italian business delegation as well as the government projects and incentives that allowed the country to have the highest rate of growth in South America.
Paraguay’s geographical position right in the heart of South America also places it in a strategic position for the manufacturing of goods to be sold on the region’s major markets.
The Forum’s agenda includes presentations by Ministers from the economic area, themed discussions and B2B sessions. The sectors the Forum will focus on are: infrastructure, agribusiness, construction, finance, technology and innovation, logistics and energy.
Companies interested in taking part in the event should register by 6 May using the online form available at: https://sites.google.com/a/ice.it/business-forum-italia-paraguay/adesioni_2
