VIETNAM: SECTORS-OPPORTUNITIES FOR ITALIAN COMPANIES, PRESENTATION OF THE KPMG STUDY
The Embassy of Italy in Hanoi and ICE-Italian Trade Agency in Ho Chi Minh City organized a webinar on the 3rd of June 2021, at 10.00 am (Italian time) and 3.00 pm (Vietnamese time). During the event, the market study “Prioritizing Business Opportunities for Italian Companies in Vietnam” will be presented.
The study carried out by the Italian Embassy in collaboration with KPMG – Vietnam, aims to provide Italian companies with information and ideas on the most promising sectors, also based on a “matching” activity between the two economies.
The report highlights the strengths of the Vietnamese economy, characterized by stable economic growth, a young and increasingly urbanized population, increasing spending power, a solid ability to attract foreign direct investment and an extensive network of trade agreements with 51 countries around the world. All such elements represent a significant potential for Italian companies in strategic sectors of our export.
This first webinar, lasting about 120 minutes and in Italian, is dedicated to the Textile-Clothing-Footwear and Furniture sectors.
The event will be opened by the institutional greetings of the Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Manlio Di Stefano, and the President of ICE-Italian Trade Agency, Dr Carlo Maria Ferro. Among the speakers, there will also be representatives of the reference business associations (Acimit, Assomac, Consorzio Promozione Filati, Acimall and Federlegno-Arredo). Considering the results of the KPMG study, they will provide a perspective commentary on the Vietnamese market. The contributions of the Embassy, ICE and SACE, will complete the information framework by illustrating the services supporting Italian companies, as per the attached programme.
The event will take place on the Lifesize platform and will be streamed. To follow the webinar, connect to the website: and enter the company name and e-mail of the participant.
