Volgograd attack: Minister Bonino’s reaction

Minister Bonino expressed deep concern and extended her solidarity to the Russian authorities in response to yesterday’s attack in Volograd that killed numerous innocent persons waiting to reach their loved ones for the new year’s holiday. “My thoughts go out to the families of those who have so tragically suffered this terrorist act. We must keep our guard up and strengthen cooperation among intelligence apparatuses as the international scenario presents elements of fragmentation, especially along the southern shores of the Mediterranean and in the Middle East”, the minister commented.
