The Farnesina welcomed the release of Lawyer Malek Adly after 114 days of detention in the Egyptian prison of Torah. There is hope that this encouraging, albeit limited, sign may be followed by similar measures for other activists, among whom several university students, currently detained in Egyptian prisons.
